The Differential Leucocyte Count shows the percentage (and absolute numbers) of each type of white blood cell — neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils and basophils.
The pattern helps your doctor tell what kind of problem is likely — e.g., bacterial infection (high neutrophils), viral infection (high lymphocytes) or allergy/worms (high eosinophils).
Tiredness, weakness, pale skin, fever, frequent infections, easy bruising or bleeding; routine health check-ups.
No fasting needed.

TLC tells how many white cells there are; DLC tells which types are up or down, which is needed to interpret the count.
No fasting is needed. You can eat and drink normally unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Blood sample taken from a vein in your arm.
Usually within 11–35 hours after the sample reaches the lab. You will receive the report online.
