A blood test that measures IgG antibodies against measles virus.
Helps diagnose measles. IgG antibodies develop later and last longer, so a positive IgG usually indicates past infection or immunity (from infection or vaccination).
Fever, rash, jaundice, suspected exposure to infection, before surgery or pregnancy, as advised by a doctor.
No fasting needed.
