Why this test is performed?

Shows how deeply the disease has responded to treatment, helps predict relapse and guides further treatment decisions.

Who should take this test?

People being evaluated or treated for cancer, or as advised by an oncologist. Not a stand-alone screening test.

No fasting needed.
