A comprehensive haemogram that includes the Complete Blood Count, ESR and a peripheral blood smear examined by a pathologist.
Gives a complete picture of the blood — detecting anaemia, infection, inflammation and abnormal blood cells — and is useful when a CBC alone is not enough to explain symptoms such as fever, weakness or easy bruising.
Tiredness, weakness, pale skin, fever, frequent infections, easy bruising or bleeding; routine health check-ups.
No fasting needed.

Low haemoglobin usually indicates anaemia (often due to iron, B12 or folate deficiency, or blood loss). A high WBC count often points to infection or inflammation. Your doctor will interpret results along with your symptoms.
No fasting is needed. You can eat and drink normally unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Blood sample taken from a vein in your arm.
Usually within 11–35 hours after the sample reaches the lab. You will receive the report online.
