Atorlip CV Capsule

Atorlip CV Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel, which prevents heart attack and stroke. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is an antiplatelet medication which prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atorlip CV Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Alcohol Unsafe

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Atorlip CV Capsule .

Pregnancy Unsafe

Atorlip CV Capsule is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Probably safe

Atorlip CV Capsule is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

Atorlip CV Capsule does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney Ask your doctor

There is limited information available on the use of Atorlip CV Capsule in patients with kidney disease. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Caution

Atorlip CV Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Atorlip CV Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Atorlip CV Capsule is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
