Nicip Plus Tablet

Nicip Plus Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nimesulide and Paracetamol/Acetaminophen. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicip Plus Tablet is to be taken with food.

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Increased liver enzymes

Most side effects do not need medical attention and go away as your body adjusts. Talk to your doctor if they bother you or do not go away.

Alcohol Ask your doctor

Taking Nimesulide+Paracetamol/Acetaminophen with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy Unsafe

Nicip Plus Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Ask your doctor

Driving Ask your doctor

It is not known whether Nicip Plus Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney Caution

Nicip Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nicip Plus Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Nicip Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver Unsafe

Nicip Plus Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
