Pantafast L Capsule

Pantafast L Capsule SR is a combination of two medicines: Levosulpiride and Pantoprazole. Levosulpiride is a prokinetic which works by increasing the release of acetylcholine (a chemical messenger). This increases the movement of stomach and intestines, and prevents reflux (acid going up to the food pipe). Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and ulcers.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pantafast L Capsule is to be taken empty stomach.

Alcohol Caution

Pantafast L Capsule may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.

Pregnancy Unsafe

Pantafast L Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Ask your doctor

Driving Caution

Do not drive unless you are feeling well. Pantafast L Capsule SR may cause drowsiness, numbness, or dyskinesias, therefore they should be advised to avoid driving and operations requiring supervision.

Pantafast L Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pantafast L Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
