Rablet D Capsule

Rablet D Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Domperidone and Rabeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing the food to move more easily through the stomach. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in the relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rablet D Capsule is to be taken empty stomach. Take it preferably 30 minutes before food.

• Flatulence
• Weakness
• Flu-like symptoms

Most side effects do not need medical attention and go away as your body adjusts. Talk to your doctor if they bother you or do not go away.

Alcohol Ask your doctor

Taking a large amount of alcohol can increase acidity and cause acid reflux in the food pipe causing heartburn. This would decrease the effect of this drug and can aggravate your underlying condition.

Pregnancy Unsafe

Rablet D Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Breastfeeding Unsafe

Rablet D Capsule is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.

Driving Caution

Rablet D Capsule may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Kidney Caution

Rablet D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rablet D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver Caution

Rablet D Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rablet D Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Rablet D Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.
