A complete hemogram combines the Complete Blood Count (haemoglobin, red cells, white cells with differential count, platelets and red cell indices) with ESR, a general marker of inflammation.
One of the most commonly ordered tests. It helps detect anaemia, infections, inflammation, bleeding or clotting tendencies and some blood disorders, and is part of routine check-ups, fever work-ups and pre-surgery tests. ESR adds information about inflammation, for example in infections, TB or arthritis.
Tiredness, weakness, pale skin, fever, frequent infections, easy bruising or bleeding; routine health check-ups.
No fasting needed.

Low haemoglobin usually indicates anaemia (often due to iron, B12 or folate deficiency, or blood loss). A high WBC count often points to infection or inflammation. Your doctor will interpret results along with your symptoms.
No fasting is needed. You can eat and drink normally unless your doctor has advised otherwise.
Blood sample taken from a vein in your arm.
Usually within 10–34 hours after the sample reaches the lab. You will receive the report online.
